David Housewright is a 3-time winner of the Minnesota Book Award, winner of the prestigious Edgar Award, and he is also one of the leading novelists in the nation. In this interview, he discussed his latest Rushmore McKenzie novel, “Something Wicked,” (released May 24, 2022), as well as his technique as a novelist. Housewright spoke of where his ideas come from, how long it normally takes to complete a novel, and the fact that as a novelist, used to working alone, the pandemic did not disturb his usual habits.
