REP. SANDY MASIN, who has served seven terms in the MN House of Representatives representing District 51A, has become not only a senior member of the legislature, but one of the best-known for her ability to cross the aisle and work with the opposite party in forging legislation to help her district and the entire state. Sandy shares some of her frustrations after the current session and special session, when much of the necessary business was left undone, not the least of which is police reform and a comprehensive infrastructure package to rebuild MN’s crumbling roads and bridges. She is running for re-election and has been endorsed again by the DFL.
