The Eagan Fire Department has undergone many recent transformations, from a volunteer service to a full time professional force, from five outdated fire houses to three, located in more effective locations in the city. And it has been led since 2004 by Chief Mike Scott, a 40 year veteran who first joined the day he turned 18. From a firefighting family, Mike has overseen the purchase of the latest equipment, including two hook and ladders necessary to deal with a changing community.
