Senator Greg Clausen, MN SD 57, has been described by one of this peers as “The Education Senator” because of his background as a teacher, a principal and a coach of athletic teams. Clausen, from Apple Valley, has sponsored legislation to allow DNR officers to issue citations in DWI cases, and to loosen lane restrictions on truck drivers of large vehicles restricted to one lane in roundabouts.
