Mr. Paul Hugunin tells us about Minnesota’s Department of Agriculture program called “Minnesota Grown”. [website here] This program helps make the public aware of all agricultural products grown in Minnesota. Their catalog of products includes nearly 1000 items – providing the names and locations and contact info for farmers and companies which the public can connect with and truly “buy local”.
He tells our co-host, Dr. Roxanne Meshar of the wide reach of the program and about the many extensions to it such as in schools and more.
