2020 Census Revelations for Minnesota
Megan Dayton, since 2012, a Senior Demographer at Minnesota’s State Demographic Center, is interviewed by guest host, Bill Raker. Megan, with a Master in Applied Demography degree from Florida State University, is responsible for researching, preparing and interpreting census data and demographic statistics for the State of Minnesota, 13 Economic Development Regions, and 87 counties. Megan provides insight into the gathering and use of results from the recent census. She shares important and interesting data from the 2020 Census and explains the meaningful shifts in Minnesota’s popuuation since the last Census in 2010.
